2008 Streicker Wines Ironstone Block Old Vine Chardonnay

Attractive lime green and lemon hue with cristal like clarity. The palate is textured and lengthy, with an oyster shell type of minerality. The succulent acidity keeps the flavours nicely focussed, revealing them with time in the glass. Flavours of white jasmine flowers, Bartlett pears and hints of grapefruit and balance with the French oak in which this wine was fermented and matured. Best enjoyed 2010 to 2015.

2009 Streicker Wines Bridgeland Block Sauvignon Semillon

Our inaugural Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon from a very sympathetic growing season. A bone dry medium bodied and flavoursome white wine, with a gentle yellow and lime green hue. An alluring bouquet of spring flower blossoms, ripe citrus and white pears are supported by hints of smoke, toast and brioche. The texture is fine; acidity is steely and pure with superb minerality.The succulence and freshness make this wine enticing now, however this wine will mature well in the bottle for three to five years, possibly a lot longer.
